Description

The KC12 active column loudspeaker system from QSC delivers powerful yet precise sound for musicians and mobile entertainers. The KC12 provides full-range audio with an impressive 145º horizontal dispersion and 35º vertical coverage. The Class-D power amplifiers—2,000W for the subwoofer and 1,000W for the midrange and high-frequency sections—generate high sound pressure levels without distortion for any venue.

Premium Components for Natural Sound

The KC12 is built from premium materials to accurately reproduce your audio. The 12" low-frequency driver extends down to 40Hz for rich bass, while the dual 4" midrange drivers and 1" compression high-frequency driver provide crisp, full midrange and detailed highs up to 18.5kHz. QSC's Length-Equalized Acoustic Flare (LEAF) waveguide gives the high end a wide, even dispersion for broad coverage. The result is a clear, natural sound at any volume.

Simple Controls for Optimizing Your Sound

Despite its advanced components, the KC12 is easy to operate thanks to its intuitive interface. Use the rotary encoder and buttons to select from preconfigured presets for different instruments and vocals, or create your own optimized EQ settings. Level controls for the subwoofer, midrange and highs let you adjust the balance to suit the venue. You can also add reverb or delay up to 200 ms. With simple adjustments, you'll have the KC12 sounding its best for your performance.

Flexible Connectivity for Any Setup

The KC12 provides connections for any audio source. Two combo XLR/1/4" inputs accept mic or line level signals—one input offers phantom power for condenser mics. A 3.5 mm stereo input takes signals from media players, while Bluetooth connectivity with True Wireless Stereo streams wireless audio from your mobile devices. The KC12 also has XLR outputs to send the mix to another loudspeaker or recording device. With these options, you can plug in mics, keyboards, media players or use the KC12 as a PA system in a simple but powerful setup.

      This is by far my favorite piece of equipment from QSC! My set up is a that of a one-man band and requires lots of low end. I didn't have enough room to carry a sub woofer, but with this new legendary piece of equipment I can get the sound I've always dreamed of! Much love QSC!

      Two questions. I would be using this as a solo gig and sometimes band PA. is there a way to use monitors with this KC12? In my band set up, we may need up to 12 inputs. What mixing board (with wireless iPad control) would you recommend to tie into this KC12?

      1) Yes, you would need to use the Mix output. This will not power monitor speakers. 2) I'm not familiar with wireless iPad control.
