The case is very bulky; one person thought I had a snare drum with me. However, my horn has a large wrap and I needed the least expensive solution to having it bang around in the car in a gig bag. I've had to put a towel in the case with the horn to take up extra space, which again is not a huge detriment. I don't like the outside small pocket because it seems like it could become unzipped and everything fall out without my knowing it. I'll probably put a small bag of my oils etc inside the case because there is room, instead of trusting the zippered compartment. I haven't used the folder slot but it looks like a folder would fit. However, since my mute will not fit, I'll continue to carry the folder in the same messenger bag that I carry the mute in. All in all, this was better than spending $600 on a case, which was my other choice, and it will be protected in the car better than it was.
