Description

The Promark S22 cymbal rattler provides the same classic sizzle sound without the hassle of drilling holes and inserting rivets. The S22 features smaller metal beads for more of a classic jazz sizzle. The cymbal rattle comes with a cymbal felt and fits conveniently on the cymbal post above the bell of the cymbal.

    As advertised, easily and instantly converts any medium-large diameter cymbal into a sizzle. Perfect for song-to-song voice swapping on a jazz ride when you don't want a full-time riveted ride on your rig, but do like the flavor from time to time.

    I bought it for a piece for concert band. It works well once you find the right cymbal. In this case a 20" A Zildjian medium ride.

    I was hopeful about this product but deeply disappointed. It does not deliver a nice sizzle as promised. In fact, to the contrary, I believe it is actually choking my cymbal. Not good. And, I had to manipulate the heck out of the felts to make it even work. I guess I learned the hard way that there is no substitute for real rivets.
