nice plain black, includes screws long enough for studs
This guitar hook was just what I was looking for, and all the better that it was at my local Guitar Center. Unlike my last hook, this one is plain black all over, which looks much nicer in a living room than one that has large white brand letters. Unlike most hangers I shopped for, this one includes screws long enough to reach the studs. There's no way I'm trusting a nice, solid body electric to drywall anchors. My bass, electric, and acoustic all fit great. It's a little tight for a classical neck, but it still fits.

Its good, but honestly just get a String Swing.
I would like to start off by saying that I took pictures of both the proline and string swing for a direct comparison. For starters the proline works, it does what I want it to do and it seems stable enough, but I would not get one again or recommend one. For a similar price you can get the String Swing (actually checked while writing the review and the String Swing is cheaper), which all around looks better and feels better and obviously has superior overall craftsmanship. If these were sold for like 8 bucks I'd recommend them to someone on a super tight budget, but if you're hanging up a nice $1000+ instrament, then why go with an inferior product?

I was looking for an easy way to keep my guitar out of reach when not playing. I picked this up at my nearest GC, and installed it in a few minutes. My acoustic guitar now looks great and now I'm not worried about kiddos running around by my guitar anymore. It has the added perk of making a once empty wall look cool! Functional art!
Sweetest purchase for a wall hanger.

This product has made me elated. I have one for my acoustic guitar, and I wanted to match with my electric guitar. It's a solid piece that was very easy to install. I recommend fixing it to the studs in the wall but the best part is the block conceals nicely behind the guitar neck.
these are exactly what I needed

I have always needed to remind myself to practice but now that my guitars are hanging on the wall right next to me anytime I get a free moment I just grab one and start practicing. It's the perfect solution to encourage learning.

It's a poor design because it is too narrow to hold heavier guitars. The "Ingles" brand, if you can find them, is a much better product. It's wider and comes with heavier mounting hardware. It's also more expensive, but worth it.
It does the job

I'm about to purchase an 11lb short scale bass. Is this product strong enough to support it or should I consider a guitar stand?
Really? 11 lbs? Short Scale? The Proline will hold it.submitted2 years ago

what is the weight limit capacity on this hanger?
I’m very sorry, the manufacturer has not made that information available. It'll hold a double neck but I wouldn't hang anything else but a guitar.submitted4 years ago

I'm hoping to buy two of these, one for my guitar, one for my banjo. Not worried about the fit for guitar, but my banjo headstock only widens to 2 - 1/2". Will the banjo fit well with this?
This will not fit a banjo head
