Nice Stand
I have a Casio WK-245 76-Key Workstation Keyboard and it's a pretty big keyboard. 76 full-size keys. It's not real heavy, just big. I needed a stand that would handle it. After looking around online, and reading lots of reviews, I was confused. Some stands are rated as flimsy. Some are said to be too high to sit and play. I decided I needed to actually see/hold one to be sure. Went to the local Guitar Center and this stand was on sale. As soon as I lifted the box I knew it was a substantial stand. Much heavier than I thought it would be. Got it home and put it together in about 10 minutes. Very easy to build. I reall ylike the foot operated rod to adjust the height or fold it up to transport. It will only be used for home use but it seems sturdy enough to travel. Very nice stand!

Poor design.
The stand is assembled by sliding the top/bottom bars on the ends of the x legs. Each bars fastens in place with a single set screw that simply clamps against the leg. Tightening the clamp screw kicks the bars off kilter ensuring the stand will never be flat & level. Poor design. The bar on the end with the release lever interfered with the release so that when the bar is tight, the release lever won't move. Poor manufacturing tolerances. The best thing about this stand was how easy it was to return for a refund.

Will this stand secure the Casio CDP-S100 piano? I have the PL4KD but the rubber stops don't narrow enough for the piano to rest on them. The underside of that piano is only 9 inches. I believe this model will. Thank you.

I've had mine for years and am getting ready to move but I can't get it to fold up. Are there directions for folding it? Does it need WD2 or something to loosen the lever? It doesn't want to move.
If it's been sitting fora bit it may need some WD-40. Nothing too crazy, but just enough to get the release button moving and loosen up the hinge in the middle.submitted5 years ago
