I had to replace the bone nut in a 1984 BC Rich and couldn't find a new or used one. This blank came in really handy of course the downside is you have to cut and shape it yourself but if you can't find bone nuts for your guitar these definitely will help you out.

Spent a lot of money on a guitar only to find out it came with a plastic nut. My strings shall not be so defiled!

Exact dimensions are not specified in the available product listings, this oversized design provides flexibility for luthiers and guitar technicians to shape the nut to precise specifications.

Would this work in my Yamaha Fg-720s-12? It's a 12 string acoustic. Also, are there any bone saddle blanks available for the same guitar?

This is not big enough to make 2 or 3, just 1. 100 grit sand paper is recommend. Extremely high-quality polymer
