ProCo Lil' RAT Mini Distortion Effects Pedal Black

Description
The Lil' RAT Mini Distortion Effects Pedal from ProCo takes the iconic distortion of the full-sized RAT2 and packs it into a miniature enclosure just over 2" wide. Unleash saturated overdrive and searing lead tones from even the most cramped pedalboards. Despite its diminutive size, the Lil' RAT delivers the same raucous, full-spectrum grit and sustain that's made the RAT2 a staple of rock and roll.
Roadworthy and Resilient
While the Lil' RAT saves space, it doesn't sacrifice durability. Its solid metal chassis and jacks are built to withstand the rigors of the road. True bypass switching ensures your tone remains uncolored when the pedal is disengaged. Powered by a 9V battery or standard pedalboard power supply, the Lil' RAT is ready to deliver distortion on demand for any gig.
Shape Your Sound with Ease
The Lil' RAT puts the same intuitive controls of its larger siblings at your feet. Adjust the amount of distortion with the Distortion control, from a subtle overdrive to an all-out sonic assault. Set the tone with the Filter knob, rolling off highs for a warmer, more vintage-styled breakup or boosting treble for extra cut and sizzle. Use the Volume knob to balance your distorted and clean levels. With just three knobs, you can craft a range of overdriven tones to suit any musical style.
Iconic RAT Tone in Every Note
Whether you're looking to add extra grit to solos, fatten up rhythms or unleash all-out overdrive, the Lil' RAT delivers the same 100% analog signal path with saturated tone that's defined rock distortion for decades. Its highly responsive circuit reacts dynamically to your playing, cleaning up with a lighter touch or snarling aggressively when pushed. The Lil' RAT also stacks well with fuzzes, overdrives and boosts, allowing you to create complex layers of distortion.

Nice tone, actually better than many distortion pedals I've used. Its small footprint makes it ideal for pedalboards with limited space which is often the case for experienced and pro players.

I'm so stoked about how great this pedal sounds! I can't believe I'm just now trying one. It can sound horrific given the filter knob can take out every bit low and mid frequencies, and the gain can go into fuzzy filth, but I like to run it with the filter turned all the way up (as much bass as possible) and the gain barely on. It's nice having a totally different flavor of overdrive... something that's not a treble boost, klon, tubescreamer, or bluesbreaker. I like it so much, I've put a Turbo Rat on order too!
One of the best classic Distorion still around!

Gilmour lead sounds all day long! Only draw back is an aesthetic thing where the knobs are all black, would of been nice to see some white lines or glow in the dark lines on the knobs. Other than that its still that unique classic RAT sound but in tiny compact size.

I've found a lot of overdrive pedals don't have enough gain on tap to get my lead sound really screaming. The mini Rat has plenty and its small size easily fits on my grab & go board.
very nice
