This snare is fantastic. Great crack and attack and surprisingly not very ringy when cranked up. Porkpie make great drums....I already own a 7x13 acrylic one as well...sounds great too!

  • Another great sounding drum from Pork Pie

Well made, nice full tone tuned low or high, snappy but not thin. I am very happy with this drum, thanks Pork Pie!

I am giving 5 stars because not only does the snare sound phenomenal, but it also came out of the box tuned to a nice crack when you wack the thing. Further more this snare even sounds a lot nicer than some of the more expensive ones I tried. All in all I highly recommend you give it a shot before you go spending even more money on something more over the odds.
