I got this snare drum around 2015. I was very impressed with the sound after some drumhead and snare wires change, I only got really good comments about it, but.... after a couple of years of use, when I tuned the drum the cylinders where the lug goes started to turn with the lug making the tuning very difficult. When I tuned up the battter head, I noticed the bottom head got loose. It turned out that you have to use a key on the bottom lug for it not to move while you tuned up the lug on the batter head. It still sounded incredible after the tuning, but it was very disappointing, I got rid of it, unfortunely.
Beware!

I've had this snare for quite a few years now and have taken really good care of it, seeing as it was in my higher price range, but I've run into a problem now with the tuning lugs. When I go to tighten or loosen some of them, the entire silver cylinder turns with the nut. I have to use pliers to hold the cylinder while tightening or loosening the nut. Lame. I thought this snare would last the duration, but apparently now. Am looking for something new right now. Also, I'm sure I've never dropped it, but it now won't sit flat on a table top. There's something bent in the tuning ring and it wasn't my doing.
