Description

The Pigtronix Emanator effects pedal is an analog delay pedal that uses a pair of genuine bucket brigade IC chips to achieve up to 600ms of warm, glowing echo. The straightforward 3-knob control layout provides easy access to a wide variety of sounds, from vintage studio slapback echo to epic, long delays with enough feedback on tap to achieve self-oscillation.

The Emanator possesses improved headroom and overall fidelity due to the high-voltage MN3005 BBD chips used in the delay line. Out of production since the mid ’80s, these legendary ICs have been reissued in all of their analog glory and put to use in this eminently convenient and compact echo machine.

    Really great pedal I bought on special in store, so I feel extra lucky. Handles being in the loop of my Randall no problem. Delay repeats have a clearer but still warm and vintage decay. It hits the sweet spot in my opinion. The repeats aren't too dark, but they still sound old school. For me it produces an ideal 80's metal lead tone, as well as add some luscious ambience to 80's clean sounds. Does the tripped out self oscillation thing too, but I never really do that. It has great slap back tones too. Great unit gives me 80's/ 90's tones.

    I used this on my Boss Katana mk1 100 and although it has a dely built in it I turn it off to use the pedal I ordered. The Pigtronix Emanator is definitely one of the best delys I've heard and is worth investing into.
