The Modartt Organteq is a physically modelled pipe organ from the producers of the award-winning software instrument Pianoteq. Based on a physical model that reproduces the physics of complex flute and reed pipes, Organteq generates sound in real time. Organteq reproduces the typical and variable "chiff" pipe attack transients and the spatial configuration of the pipes. Plus, action noises from keys, stops and couplers are also modelled. All this makes the instrument livelier than sample-based variants, bringing more realistic variability in attack and sustain.

Modartt Organteq omits the usage of samples, making the file size is just a tiny fraction (just 15MB) of that offered by other virtual organs. This makes it perfect for use on any laptop. It can be used both in standalone mode and as a 64-bit instrument plug-in in VST, AAX and AudioUnits hosts.
