Big Disappointment

This should have been the perfect high-end mini bass practice amp. The design and features seem great and it has a nice tone, but the volume is so weak I cannot believe it is the 35 watts that they claim. Even with the tone controls set to flat, there is much distortion at louder volumes, so it cannot be set to be very loud at all. I know not to expect a big bass sound from a 4 inch speaker, but at the very high price of this amp, you should at least expect to be able to turn the knobs way up without distortion. When turned down enough for an undistorted sound, the volume is so low that it may have trouble competing with a loud unplugged acoustic guitar. It seemed like they nailed it for the perfect mini design, but then failed big on the choice of speaker/amp combination. Very disappointed.

When it worked it had a great sound. This amp would have been a perfect practice amp lightweight, bluetooth capability. Unfortunately it went from producing great tones to a static filled garbage sound from both the bluetooth connection and from bass input. Trouble shot all connections, checked my bass on another amp, power cycled, etc. It is definitely the amp. Will be returning for a refund. I have no confidence in this brand. What a complete disappointment.
