Sanpera II Footswitch Review
The Snapera Footswitch is the perfect companion to the VYPYR amp line. I have the VYPYR 60 watt Tube Power amp that I purchased as a practice amp and combined with the footswitch it is now my go to amp. If your planning on getting these Peavy amps DEFINITELY get the Sanpera II footswitch. With both I am able to get any sound from thrash metal, SRV, 80's metal, blues, and just about any sound you can imagine. The 32 bit and 255 mhz sampling rate is the best out there so you get a very good analog reproduction ands the footswich makes for going from parameter to parameter a pure joy. Don't waste your time and money on trying to build the perfect pedal board. Peavy has truly outdone themselves with there VYPYR and Sanpera II amp and footswtich line.

Takes a bit of practice, but seems to be a sturdy build and adds another dimension to the Vypyr series.
Have the Vypyr Pro 100 and am very happy with the Sanpera 2

I bought the Sanpera II to replace the Model I that I originally got. Getting the extra banks of presets, two pedals and the ability to switch your effects on and off is worth the extra money spent. Definitely takes the Vypyr to a new level. Buy it!

I have had other midi controllers for various units in the past,a main one right now is the Behringer Fcb1010 for a g-major unit which is tricky to program, this one however is very easy to use from the start. The directions are clear and easy to follow. I haven't done any recalibrating and i'm not sure if i will but all the other features are easily accessible from this controller. It's built nice and seems rugged. The only reason I don't give it a 5 is that it causes the vypr head to freeze on a fairly regular basis. I knew about this issue ahead of time and am still not sure if this is an issue with the pedal or the head, it doesn't seem to cause the combo to freeze, but i haven't used it too often with it. The only other thing is it takes a special midi cable, which is provided, I wanna say it's around 10-pins or so. Not sure if that will be difficult to get a hold of if another is ever needed. Overall a must have for the vypr amp.
