Pearl Travel Conga 12.5 in.

Not bad for what it is, but still not the sound of a full size Conga. Great for practices and it can be tuned to work as the lower bass to a set of bongos as a three drum combo. It is a quality and solid instrument with easy take down and from the travel conga stand as long as you have the special bracket. Purchased as a set, all of the brackets, stand, and travel bags are a great value with everything you need included. For transport, you definitely want the travel bags!

This is by far the best sounding portable conga set there is. The portability and convenience is worth the price especially when you don't have space for full size congas. They almost sound (bass) as good as the full size congas and definitely better than the competition. I use a snare stand for each one. I use a rolling cart to pack the stands and all three congas when I travel. My friends that play professionally are amazed by the quality and sound that come out of these 3.5" deep congas. It comes with an allen wrench with pouch so you could adjust the sound if you wish. Remember, go by the sound and not the endorsement. Goto the store and hear it for yourself. You'll be impressed.
