Easily pinch both sides of the bottom locking nut to release and place top hi-hat cymbals, and adjust cymbal feel with the locking top adjustment nut.

    I use it for every day playing at home and it works fine. I like that the bottom locks in and you can "lock" the top hi- hat in by tightening the red washer to your desired tight or loose setting and then secure it in place with the provided allen wrench.

    I bought this when my old clutch failed. On a couple songs I hold the hats very tight together. I had to really crank on the thumbscrew to keep it from slipping under the pressure. It eventually stripped.The 'super grip' description sold me. And it WORKS! But the best part is the 'rapid lock' feature. No more fumbling with a threaded nut to install top cymbal. Best clutch I've ever used.
