Not into the fad of mainstream but I know exactly the sound I'm looking for. Finally found it at used gear in Guitar Center.

I ordered this pedal and got it a few weeks ago. Personally I love it. I play metal music, so when I use it, it's few and far between, but when I do, dang it works. The only downside that I can see is that I struggle to get a pedal on that is not a Pearl pedal, but I still make it work. All in all, this is worth the money and an awesome buy.
My purchase of the PPS-20 foot pedal

When I first knew of the PPS-20 in September of 2010 I was a little skeptical. I had a bass drum pedal that I was not using for anything since I replaced it with a double bass drum pedal. Even though I had no attachment for it, I would practice using the pedal with my left foot just to see how my coordination was. The more I practiced the more I became aquainted with how to use the foot pedal. In November of 2010 I went into The Guitar Center and ordered my PPS-20 since the store did not have one in stock. I put the order in on Wednesday and got my tracking number in my email. By Friday I received my PPS-20. My purchase through the Guitar Center was GREAT and I love my PPS-20 because it free's up my hand to use for other instruments, such as the hi-hat for instance.
Perfect for latin music!

When playing salsa on drums, this foot pedal really frees up playing with the hands to do the son clave with the left foot or just keep tempo on cowbell during certain parts of the music. Awesome invention! I don't think I can play latin music without it anymore. It's also cheaper than the rest of the cowbell foot pedal brackets, so get it, you won't regret it! :)

I bought this pedal in hopes for an additional instrument in my "one my band" when I'm playing guitar in front of the local store in my small hick town; and guess what...it's great! All there is to say is this pedal is great. It works just like a regular bass pedal. So buy it!
