hex nuts are constantly loose

Overall the action of this pedal is nice. However, the hex nut that connects the shaft to the main pedal comes loose after a few minutes of playing, causing the slave beater to slip and go limp. I tried applying some lock-tight on the hex screw, but this did not help. I recommend a different pedal with a more durable design.

These pedals are far better than the price would suggest! This is my first set of doubles, and my first pearl product. I had them set up and ready to play within minutes! I tried all 3 positions on the powershifter, and settled on light for now, with the springs a little on the tight side---I was amazed at how much power I could get with my left foot---I have been playing them for about 4 months, and they have not given me any trouble. I tried Iron Cobra, DW, and Axis---all much more expensive than the 902's---before buying these, and the difference in price was not worth the difference in quality or playability for use in my home studio!

I have been looking for my first set of double pedals for several months, and most of the pedals in my price range were someone else's rejects---these are fast, smooth, and have plenty of adjustment---for about the same money as a rusty, beat-up set of used Iron Cobras! I am VERY pleased with them, and highly recommend checking them out before buying used, or spending a lot more money!

I have been searching for the right double pedal for months, and I have tried every brand out there---new and used---this is one of the first I tried, and I would recommend it to anyone! Easy to set up, hits hard, smooth as glass, and much faster than others costing twice as much or more! Bottom line---this thing is AWESOME---check it out before you spend too much on something else!

I bought these pedals after years of single kicking. They are very smooth and very fast. These are quality products and you can feel that immediately. The swivel hardware can accommodate any angle you want so placement of the left pedal is just perfect. Note that the left pedal does not have a rim clamp so you cannot use the PS85 stabilizer on the left pedal. The price is rediculously great especially when you compare these pedals to the $600 pedals that are out there. Yeah there is a difference but clearly not worth an extra $400 plus.

I have been drumming about 5 years and this was the first double pedal I bought. I did not know how to adjust it at first but when i figured it out I was blown away! I prefer this pedal over my dw5000 and its less than half the cost. Buy this pedal!

This pedal is a really good pedal to begin with. Its cheap and its a really good brand. This pedal is really good if you set it up right and put the beaters at a decent height, you'll be able to play fast. If you don't know how to set it up take it to guitarcenter and they will put it together for you. This pedal is awesome!!!!
