Pst5 Bang 4 your buck
the pst5 series really bring value and quality to entry level cymbals, overall this cymbal is made with quality has a nice bright sound would not recomend getting zildjian zbt cymbals not as livel as pst5s. has very nice volume when needing to play gigs. also sounds alright when crash it (very easy to crash).

Okay Ride At First...
When I bought this ride its was great for the first two months. It had a great ping on the bell and the ride overall itself was crisp. But then all of sudden it started to have a wicked overtone. It is just obnoxious. I have to play the cymbal with a mute on it so I don't hear that terrible sound. If you are on a budget it is a great cymbal. If not go with the Zildjian Z Custom Mega Bell Ride, Zildjian Sweet Ride, or any Sabian AA/HHX ride.

The cymbals that came with my drum kit sounded like trash can lids, so they had to go. I first purchased Zildjian ZHT Hi Hats and Ride, but was not happy with the sound of the ride. Went to Guitar Center and fell in love with the sound of the Paiste PST ride. Even after trying out some of the more expensive ones, the PST 5 sounded the best. It has a nice sound and a nice sustain, without ringing on forever. While I was looking at this cymbal, I even had two more experienced drummers come up to me and tell me how much they like this ride.

This ride is the best I have ever tried. The greatness of this ride vs. the price is outstanding! I would say better than most Sabians. The Bell is perfect to just cut above the guitars and basses. When you hit on more of the outside, it has a long ring, but it sounds cool. Also, it can be used as an excellent crash as well! Great sound I won't be replacing this baby anytime soon. Oh, and it is pretty shiny and barely shows any stick marks!

This is the best ride I've ever used! It's bell is great as well, it's real pingy even at the bottom! I've used a sabian medium ride and it sounded like a crash at the bottom. So buy this cymbal it's probably the best ride you'll find for the price
