I've had the 18" china for about a year and the 16" for maybe half a year and they have never failed me! Always provided a great trashy sound. Deeper for the 18", cutting and bright for the 16". The 18" just cracked but only because the faulty cymbal holder supporting it broke and dropped it on the floor. Paiste is a sick cymbal brand. Just don't let it fall on the floor

i picked this cymbal up from my local guitar center about a year ago and i am still pleased of the quality and awsome sound that comes out of it, if your a hardcore, metal drummer this thing bites threw everything and sounds awsome during breakdowns as well a++

I Decided to get this cymbal for myself on Chrismas, and It is a very very solid cymbal, i dont ever feel like its going to break for a long time. Im only rateig in 5 stars because it is truly a good cymbal, but i Strongly dislike it. I play mostly metalcore/deathcore when i use this cymbal, and its to washy for that, i would like it to be trashyier. But this cymbal is also very loud, and can overpower the drumset if you smack it to hard
AMAZING!

Bought the Alpha 18' first thinking it was gonna be great, but was sadly disappointed. Traded it in for this and 18 inch PST 5, and it was the best thing I'd ever done for my drum set. This thing sounds fantastic. Decay is just right, and the tone is good and dark. It works great for breakdowns, don't listen to what anyone else says on that. I've played it at a few live shows, and got tons of compliments afterwards each time. If you're looking for a good, inexpensive china for your hardcore/metalcore or even deathcore band, look no further. This thing competes with higher end chinas easily. Buy it.
Great china, great value.

I went to guitar center to try out some chinas to replace a cracked Sabian. I asked if there was a quality china for cheap and he handed me this. I put it on a set and it sounded great. It was trashy but still had a bright tone to it. I bought it later that week during the list event. It sounds great and looks great as well. I'm looking forward to buying the 16" in the future.
One of the best china's out there

Ive been playing in my local church for about a year, and on their set they have an 18" A Custom china. Ive never really liked the sound of it, so i hit up guitar center for a decent china, and low and behold ive found IT. The pst 5 18" china. Not only does it have a nice clear trash sound it also as a fast decay so it dosent sound like your wailing on a gong. Definitely a must have for anyone who seeks to find a solid china.
