PRS Singlecut Hollowbody II with 10 Top and Back Electric Guitar Matteo Mist

Description
The Singlecut Hollowbody II comes standard with V12 finish, a Pattern neck and 57/08 pickups. The PRS/LR Baggs Piezo System is also standard on this instrument, allowing you to plug into your PA or recording console and your amp at the same time.
V12 Finish
The finish should enhance the look, sound, and feel of a guitar by accentuating the wood's inherent beauty and feel without hindering its natural resonance. And PRS Guitars' new "V12" finish does just that. Introduced at Experience PRS 2010, "V12" is a very thin, hard, and clear finish that will not crack or react with thinners. After roughly 12 years in development, it is halfway between acrylic and nitro but with a classic feel all its own. "PRS models with this new finish feel like old instruments," said Paul Reed Smith.
Pattern Neck Shape
Neck shapes have always been a high priority for us and a hallmark of our quality. A guitar should feel comfortable, like "home," as soon as you pick it up, and the neck is paramount to that connection. Perfected after years of prototyping, the new "Pattern" neck is an updated Wide Fat PRS neck style based on Paul's pre-factory design. These necks were found on the instruments built for Carlos Santana, Peter Frampton and Howard Leese from the late 70's to the mid 80's.

OK PRS are not going to issue a bad instrument but all I can say is that the more I play with my new toy the more I like it. I have a Tom Anderson Cobra with Piezo and the only advantage it has over the PRS HB is the stereo out making a neater long cable to the electric and accoustic amps. The Cobra will also deliver a single coil tone. However, the accoustic sound from the PRS is wonderful( I use a Boss accoustic pedal and AER amp), much fuller than the Cobra and the clarity or bite on the electric settings with great sustain ( Boogie F50 ) is stunning. I love the feel of PRS and the neck suits me really well.( I had a solid body already). This is light on the neck but full in tone. I'll be honest, I collect better than I play but this has added both new aggressive tones as well as full accoustic sound and is an inspiration to practice more! I am thrilled. The range of sounds adds greatly to the flexibility of the band. Thank you PRS for making it and Guitar Center for shipping it across the country for me.( I collected in NYC)
