PRS SE One Korina Electric Guitar Vintage Amber

This guitar is an excellent value . It is a beautifully made LP Jr. I have much love for the G brand but their product which is still far above this price point doesn't compare . Yes the lack of a tone knob with a chimey P-90 will have to be amp controlled . I can't see where it would be very difficult to put in a stacked control and add tone . The tuners are nice but not the quality of the higher end PRS's . The neck reminds me of a LP standard beautifully bound . So you get a great LP Jr. with a standard neck made of Korina , add a tone control and this is a sweet slide machine ....I'm just a customer , not affiliated with GC in any way

Dude I never owned a PRS before but this guitar made me a believer!!! Amazing sound from the Korina wood and it just feels so right in my hands. I played it at a local guitar store and was very impressed by the guitar.....not the price so I checked out the web and got the best deal here when they had their Veterans day weekend sale. I got this guitar, a Gator LP case, Levis Guitar strap and picks. Thanks Guitar center and PRS for such a great deal! I can't beat the sound I have from a PRS Korina one, the single soapbar pickup is awesome and has really turned me on to checking out more guitars with them. I been playing in different bands for about 15 years. I currently have a Epi Les paul that I hot rodded out with all new hardware from A to Z and a Schecter C1 with vine inlay. Proud to make this the 3rd guitar in my collection.

Don't let this low price import fool you. This guitar plays like a high priced USA model. The fit and finish are superb. The setup was spot on out of the box. The neck has a comfortable feel. Not too thick. The P-90 sounds great.

I recently bought a mahogany ONE. So my experience may differ. One thing you will need to do right off the bat is get it professionally set up. The only issue to deal with after that is dealing with the lack of a tone knob, cuz the P 90 in it is really midrangey. It's very heavy on the mids so with no tone knob you're going to have to get reaquanted with your amps EQ to get the tone you like. Otherwise, it's a decent straight up rock guitar. I'm a bit spoiled cuz I also have a PRS Mira which is the best guitar I have ever played. But, PRS SE dept. did a great job making a guitar similar to the Les Paul junior for half the price. It would be nice to see PRS make a Maryland made ONE with a tone knob, now that would be something else! Don't get me wrong, thing is A great guitar, I'm just real picky.
