Taught at a GC and every day I had to look at this guitar on the wall. It was so awesome, I had to buy it. I did have to replace the selector switch, so I did it with a 5-way switch and man o man, I have more tones than most need. Thanks Paul!!
Very cheap pickup selector switch

Got it in October 2022. I have several other guitars. Playability is great though neck seems almost plastic and pickup selector switch is VERY cheap and will need to be upgraded. This is not an inexpensive guitar. Shame on PRS for skimping on switch. It's really bad.

This is a very nice guitar. Wish I had bought a PRS decades ago... I've been a single coil picker for 4 decades. This guitar will do everything my US Tele Elite will do...and then some. I really like the 85/15 pickups. Lots of versatility. And they don't sound horrible when you pull the coil tap. They can be a bit noisy is single coil mode but what true single coil isn't. In bucker mode, they are bright, clear and full. The axe did take sime considerable set-up. But it plays well afterwards. Not the best neck I've ever laid my hands on but it's comfortable. A definite player. I can't think of anything I would change. I'm glad to welcome it to my axe family!

I have bought a PRS SE Custom 24 about a year ago and fell in love with it. I've wanted a semi hollow for some time so this PRS SE caught my eye. I pulled the trigger on the black quilted model and could not be happier. Really a great instrument. It played great out of the box but after a pro setup it's really a treat to play. I feel it sounds better than my solid body SE, just a great feel. Frets were nice, fit and finish after a pro setup is good. Really would recommend for this guitar for anyone looking for a great semi at midlevel price.

I am getting back into the hobby and now that I am a bit older I can afford a nicer guitar. The kind of guitar that makes you want to play. The guitar is very resonant and is great acoustically. The neck is comfortable and I don't think you are going to find anything better at this price point.
I would buy this product again and again

I use this guitar for recordings. I also pretty much use this guitar for jam session because it's my favorite guitar.

How much does it weigh? I am looking for a very light guitar,
All guitars vary depending on the density of the wood. Manufacturers usually only spec size and type of wood. Guitars are generally between 6 and 12 lbs. They can be more. The only way to know the weight of an individual instrument is to weigh it. This will be approximately 8.5 – 9.0 lbssubmitted3 years ago
