Promark
Description
Promark Broomsticks play most like a traditional drumstick with a similar diameter. Broomsticks offer greater volume than brushes, though less attack than rods. Adjustable O-rings allow the player to change the spread of the bristles much like one would with a pair of brushes.

I purchased the Large Broomsticks way back when they first came out, and they were the only size available. I liked the idea, and the "texture" I get on my drums is a nice sound, but they were too big and you needed to really swing them. These SMALL BROOMSTICKS do the trick; they allow a much softer attack, but you're not wielding a straw bat! Nice light touch on the drum set, but both versions are way too soft to use on a ride cymbal with any projection. These are about as thick as a marching stick, but very light in weight and sound; I find them fun for playing with pre-recorded music and "solo's", or for low volume practice, but they might be too soft for a band and don't forget they are straw and the rebound is very limited (both sizes) but they are great for making subtle sound changes to your playing.
