Love this kit ☆

Bought this for young teen son. Tuning drums correctly really helps. Surprisingly great sound. This blue color is very cool. Upgraded to mid range Sabian cymbals and improved over all sound. Really a nice set he can grow with.

Nice set except for the cymbals

Nice set for practicing in the garage. Might be nice in small venues but haven't tried that. Sound carries very well and a good distance, especially the bass drum w/double foot pedals. Cymbals included are thin and sound like s#&t in my opinion so we bought an upgraded cymbal pack that compliment the set well

I use this drum kit for lots of metal, however over the course of around 3 years of having this kit, one thing i noticed is the bearing edges on mine aren't very well made. I still managed to get everything tuned how i like, but it took a long time of playing around over the course of around 6 months to truly find what worked. Would replace all the drum heads. Cymbals are absolute garbage, so don't use them imo. Other than that i like this kit, and am pretty satisfied.

  • Great drum kit at an affordable price!

Picked this up for our rehearsal space and was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the drum kit. Guess I wouldn't expect anything less from DW drums!

Been wanting to learn the drums since I was a teenager. Finally decided to go for it at 50 years old. I went with this set because for the price it seemed to be the Best value. I definitely was not disappointed. Took about an hour to assemble. These drums sound good and seem to be well made. The cymbals are not great but they will do until you decide if you are serious about playing. I would definitely recommend this set for any beginner. I've had them about a month and I'm having a blast!

  • My son loves his new drums!

Purchased for my 9 year old son to begin learning to play. Setup was pretty straightforward, although a product spec sheet and some instructions would be nice. The drums and hardware are an excellent value for the money. The cymbals aren't great, but for the price I was not expecting them to be. Overall a good practice/rehearsal kit.

Been A professional and studio percussionist and set drummer since 1970 . been thru many many drums . I wanted a drum kit set for my studio home just too exercise though this Pandemic times. The drums has a good quality sound after I change all the heads to a top quality Evans heads . Got rid of the cymbals and replace them some Zildjian customs cymbals. It's for my daughter ,but I tend to appreciate the sound now. The price is great if you'll a professional drummer you know how to upgrade the equipment and accessories to make it sound a great drum kit . Recommend any beginner or professional drummer to purchase the drum kit. Thanks PDP/DW.

I already snapped the plastic straps for the snare wires. What size should I get because I need to purchase more wires?

The Pearl 20-Strand Bridge Type Snare Drum Wires would be a good choice.

Even though the product is "open box", does it actually come with all pieces listed in the description? I recently ordered an open box set from another company that claimed to be complete, but when it arrived I found crucial pieces missing.

    Open Reply - Ronald
Any parts of the drum set that are missing would be called out in the details. The paperwork and the manual may not be included, but other than that it's all there.
