PDP by DW Concept Exotic 5-Piece Maple Shell Pack With Chrome Hardware Honey Mahogany

PDP Concept Maple Exotics drums are constructed with maple shells and the same pro-level features as their Concept Maple cousins. But to boost the looks, PDP wraps these Exotics drums with an inner and outer veneer of rich honey mahogany wood, which is finished with a glossy natural lacquer.

Beyond the outer veneer of mahogany, these all-maple drums belong fully to the PDP Concept Maple series. The 7-ply toms come in DW's proprietary F.A.S.T. sizes for maximum resonance. The rack toms use DW’s advanced Suspension Tom Mounts (STMs). The 10-ply snares include the trusted MAG throw-off, along with fully-chromed snare wires, featuring carbon steel coils and brass end plates. The 7-ply bass drums are built with die-cast, low-mass claw hooks.

Finally, just like all Concept drums, the Concept Exotics are made with DW’s True Pitch tension rods, graduated counterhoop thicknesses, retro-inspired, dual-turret lugs and genuine Remo drum heads. These drums sing with pure maple tone. They are also customizable with add-on toms (sold separately) to adapt to a wide variety of musical styles.
