Rock solid

This thing is Rock solid. I've had nothing slip. I have been able to readjust my whole drum set and create more space in a limited area. It has also just made the whole drum set more comfortable for me. Quite expensive in my opinion. But after looking at other options and seeing that they had slipping issues I decided to go with this one since I know it's made by DW and of quality.

This rack is very sturdy and offers a ton of flexibility for the active drummer. I've always used stands for my drum and cymbal setup so this is the first rack I've ever purchased. I'm extremely happy with this purchase and recommend this to any drummer who has 5 or more drums in their kit along with multiple cymbals. It's a very high quality rack that looks great! I love the memory lock collars as well as the built in level attachment! I love it!
PDP Chrome Rack With Side Extention

Let me start by saying thanks to PDP for their efforts to bring quality products to drummers on a budget and to Guitar Center for the sick deal on it. I'll also say that it's been 10 years since my last and only set which was a Pearl Export in forest green and I just recently got to a point where I saved enough money to get another set which was the X7 Maple in White. So with that said this review is coming from someone with a somewhat beginner to intermediate level of knowledge when it comes to drums and equipment, so take it for what you will. Anyway's I've never had a rack before and always thought they looked cool and were very versatile. One of the key features for me since I have limited space is that it saves space compared to having 4 to 5 stands or more around the set. I just got the rack like literally a couple hours ago and just got done setting it up. I have to say I can not stop smiling! I am blown away at how professional it looks, the quality of it and the overall styling of it! It was all bubble wrapped very well, there was no damage at all and everything that should have come with it did. One thing is it didn't come with instructions but it's so simple to put together, it would have been a waste of paper to even create instructions lol. Once you start unwrapping the components you immediately know what is what and then it goes together within seconds. It's balanced, it has a good weighted feel to it, that's without drums or cymbals on it yet and let me tell you now there is A LOT of holding strength to these clamps! I've read review after review, blog after blog and now that I finally have tried it myself there will be nothing to worry about. Just make sure you tighten it very well and it will hold a mac truck in place lol. The name plate on the front also has a built in level so you can tell if the main bar is level. So there you have it. A simple review for a simple but high quality product. I know I am new to the game of drumming but I am very impressed with it and have a good eye for quality. This thing will last for many, many years to come especially if you take care of it, either at shows or for personal use at home. Get it if you have the funds available, you won't be let down!

I recently bought two of these and I love them! I play a vintage 1969 slingerland 14 piece double base kit, and have 8 toms and a dozzen cymbals hanging off this set up and there is no slippage or unsteadiness. Its rock solid! I even have 2 remote hihats and two snares on this rack with no movment. After you set up the first time, the memory locks make setup and tear down a breeze.

This is by far the best piece of equipment (besides my drum set) that I have purchased! GREAT, EASY TO SET UP! I have 4 toms, and 6 cymbals hanging of this baby and she stays up like a champ! If you're looking at a Drum Rack, Look no further, THIS PDP Rack Will Dominate!!

Great rack easy to set up and tear down, very solid. One problem you can't order single clamps or memory locks from anywhere other than retailer. Then the wait is forever. DW really needs to rethink it.
