Sturdy enough for home/studio use

I don't play drums often (guitar, bass & string instruments mainly) but keep a drum set in my studio & practice occasionally. Was given some cymbals and needed two more stands without spending a lot. The DW series 700 have used before and given away as neither stable or sturdy. These are definitely stable, sturdy and even a 20" crash is good. Wouldn't go larger. Also these do not look like they would travel well long-term or on tour. But for home or studio use they will do just fine for a low price.

Disappointed

I think I made a mistake. I thought I was buying a sale item but instead I got a heavily used cymbal stand that is not fit for use. It was delivered with dented tubes, corrosion, and it will not hold any weight without sliding back to its lowest possible point.

    Good mid weight stand. Much better than the 700 line, but not as sturdy or expensive as the Tama roadpro line.

    I needed a new stand for a new cymbal . I had a PDP 700 BOOM, but it was TOO light to handle the larger cymbal. Glad I chose the PDP 800 it's heavier but sturdier than the 700. It was in stock and ON SALE!!! can't beat that
