    This bracket is made out of extremely low quality material. Always breaks where the screws come in from the inside of the drum. Needs to have 3 or 4 points of attachment to keep it from rocking back and forth and breaking where the motion stresses the material. 2 screws in-line vertically on a cylinder is always going to break especially when the bracket rocks back and forth on those screws. Poor design. Overpriced.

    The stock photos did not show the most important side of this piece. If you are looking to "float" a tom, this is the exact piece you need. I put one on a diy electric drum tom, and it worked perfect for the Roland pad mount that was included with the td-9 rack.
