I had always dreamed about owning an ovation guitar. i had played this guitar 20 years ago in a music store and loved the thin neck making it one of the easiest playing guitars i had ever played for a classical but unfortunately the round back made it too hard to hold and play and believe me i gave it a good try. Had to return it and bought a taylor brand. It had the same easy playing neck but to hold it was unbelievable. i was able to sit for long periods of time and practice. It cost twice as much as the ovation but it was worth it. I really don't like to knock any music instrument but i feel the rolling over of the guitar makes it almost impossible to practice with it.

I had Ovation guitars in the 70's and always liked them. When I saw the nylon string I had to have it. Glad I did. Great sound, looks good and great price, love those coupons. I like the mid-depth bowl better then the deep bowl. I'm just a home player so I not after a "pro" guitar but this guitar could fill the spot. The only thing I noticed is it came in the wrong case and didn't seem to fit very well. It was supposed to come with a molded hard shell case but instead it came with a hard shell acoustic looking case. I called GC and they sent me the right case right away.

I had been waiting for years to get an Ovation guitar. I decided to have the Elit classic with nylon strings as I already own a steel string Epiphone. The sound of the Ovation even with nylon strings is great, vibrant and clear. I found the guitar to be a bit smaller and lighter that I expected the neck has a perfect with. I will play this guitars for many years.

I got this Guitar Saturday night shipped from the warehouse. I have to say right out of the box it was setup perfectly and all I had to do was tune it. it sounds great and plays even better. I had tried a number of Nylon string guitars at the store but nothing came close to this guitar. Electronics are incredible in the Pre EQ setting but enacting the EQ gave an entire new range of tones. Very prolific. The action is setup perfectly and while the neck is a little wider than my steel string guitars it didn't take long to get use to. I highly recommend this guitar to anyone looking for Nylon String guitar, weather you play Jazz, classical, flamenco or rock this guitar will do it for you.
