I have another similar Ovation bass and needed this one since I often play gigs in multiple tunings. This bass is good and is quality for the price. I have no major issues with playing this bass amplified but, it takes some tweaking to get it right so that it doesn't feedback, overdrive, or have any unwated frequencies. Overall, it is a really good bass.

  • I would buy it again

It's a nice beautiful acoustic electric bass guitar, the sound of it is awesome...I gave it a 4 star because for as nice as this guitar I think it should come in a hard case maybe they will start including them.

I have played a Warwick Alien, Michael Kelly, Ovation Celebrity and now this Elite TX. This is by far the best of the bunch. Plays nice, no real flaws, love the OP electronics. Great finish..The bass has a great feel and the mid depth bowl makes it' very comfortable. It's what I wanted to add a acoustic to my arsenal.
