Amazing sounding head. I play a ton of shows anywhere from 100-3,000 kids and have played with local and national bands. I have to say this is one of the best sounding heads I've ever heard. It sits so well with the mix, but cuts through just enough to be heard and add that extra punch. Although it doesn't have an effects loop (which for me I like the option) you won't need much use of one because the sound you get from this is perfect as is. It weighs a ton too but I expected as much since after all it is an Orange. Definitely the head of my dreams, I've waited a very long time to get one and I couldn't be happier that I pulled the trigger.

I've been playing bass for about 4 years now, mostly with my church worship band but also for jamming with friends on occasion. Ever since I've started playing, I've been running my Fender jazz bass through a Fender combo amp. I decided to finally invest in a stack, and I definitely made the right choice choosing this as a head. I go to a medium sized church, and turned up 3/4 it can shake the ground. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a good bass head.

The Orange amp line gives you your money's worth. This Orange tube amp delivers a punch that most bass amps lack. It is not lacking in power like most solid state amps. Ths simple controls let you dial in your tones while having the ability to change them in a drop of a hat. It has enough power to outplay your band, group, or choir, yet it is able to quietly sound just as tight as when it is cranked. This is a must have for the serious bassist.
