Open Box beyerdynamic DT 700 PRO X Closed-Back Studio Headphones Level 1

The detachable mini-XLR cable can be replaced by cables of different lengths and connection options. The rugged spring steel headband construction gives the over-ear headphones a secure fit and ensures durability. The supple velour ear pads are soft to touch, as you would expect, and ensure comfortable air circulation. Thanks to soft memory foam, the headband adapts ergonomically to the shape of the head and, like the ear pads, it can be replaced when necessary. Robust and high-quality materials complete these headphones, which are handmade in Germany.

Recessed mids, little decay, sharp treble, contained and punchy bass. Great imaging and soundstage for a closed back. Shines on complex and layered tracks but falls short on vocal heavy and simple beats. Would be good for studio work but there are better options for listening pleasure
Don't bother

Flat sound. Too heavy. The only nice part is the velvet ear pieces. NOT worth the high price tag.
High frequencies way too screaming loud. I am returning them

Wanted them for mixing high quality music tracks, but the sound is totally unlike the source. They should have an adjustment to tone the high frequencies Way Down to be of any use. Beyerdynamics is capable of much better than this; they are a total Fail IMO.
Fantastic sound !

Concert sound reinforcement, FOH reference mix.
The most comfortable headphones I've used!

I wear glasses, and closed-back headphones usually put pressure on them that eventually hurts my nose after an hour or so. These have not done that to me. Click track bleed has happened when tracking with a condenser microphone. Perhaps they are not as tight as other closed-backs.
I would purchase again.

I love how comfortable they are, with including the sound.
