Way Huge Electronics

Description

The Way Huge Supa-Puss Analog Delay was designed by delay master Jeorge Tripps for exploring the farthest reaches of true analog delay potential, featuring an eternity of delay time and fine control over numerous parameters of your delay signal.

Tripps equipped the Supa-Puss with a total of six bucket-brigade chips, delivering up to 900 milliseconds of delay time. With the Tap Tempo switch, you can program in real time up to three full seconds of delay time for ethereal ambience. The Subdivision control allows you to set how your repeats are subdivided, and by switching to the unique Chase mode, you can set your repeats to cycle through each of the Subdivision values in different ways for maximum freak-out effects.

In addition to standard Delay and Feedback controls, Tripps included several controls for fine-tuning the sound of your repeats: Tone for shaping color, Gain for adding grit, and Speed and Depth controls for adding shimmering, liquid textures with the Supa-Puss' LFO modulation circuit. For even further tweakability, Tripps added a true Mix control so you can set your desired blend of wet and dry signals.

Finally, the Supa-Puss has an expression pedal jack so you hook up an expression pedal for continuous, real-time control over the Supa-Puss' delay time.

Very nice pedal with tons of options. I found some very nice sounds I liked, but it was hard to tame this pedal. I prefer the voicing of the echo puss, I wish the supapuss was more similar to the the echopuss but they sound different. This is a great analog delay and with patience it can do anything but its hard to dial in the exact sound you want out of it. I think I prefer some of the new options offered on the market but this used to be one of the best there is but now there are so many options. Don't hesitate to buy this pedal, this is just one mans opinion. I got one of the later models and had no problems at all with the pedal as others have stated In the reviews.

  • One of the best sounding delay pedals I've ever owned.

Great delay. Phenomenally versatile. The tap tempo, which I use a lot, is very accurate. I really like the foot switchable sub-division feature. Been a while since thrown anything on my board that has excited me like this box does.

well, honestly, it took about 3-4 revisions total since this was released for way huge to get everything just right, but they did it. the delays fade out evenly, i BELIEVE they switched to a crystal oscillator instead of a resistor/capacitor network, because the tap tempo doesnt go out of sync over time. way huge really makes some excellent stuff, and this is no exception. keep your eyes peeled for some more gems from jeorge tripps in the near future! this is a definite buy. analog delay with tap tempo, modulation, and gain adjustments? YES PLEASE!

  • awesome analog delay with modulation, gain and tone on your repeats

this pedal is very musical and delivers very high quality sound. your dry signal is true and the wet signal sounds great too. highly recommended. have not compared to the competition in person (bought based on youtube videos). pedal was bought from guitar center in july and it is the later revision after the volume drop issue was fixed. for some a carbon copy might suffice but this pedal will do dark or bright, clean or gritty, straight or wobbly. for me, having that flexibility makes it a pedal i will never need to upgrade and so it is worth the extra money.
