I bought this amp about a year ago because I could afford it. Its a VOX and it's 100W, I didn't think I could go wrong with that. Paired it with an ordinary 4x12 Marshall cabinet. Today I can say that I finally found my sound. Besides the tube pre-amp, the best thing about this amp is the wattage adjustment. With the watts at about 80, as I turned the volume up I began to hear that tone I've been searching for. Clear, full, tube-like, strong tone. Thank you VOX!

I purchased the Vox AD100VTH and took it from the store and out to a gig that night. I matched it with a 4x12 Crate 1/2 stack. The head performed perfectly and it sounded great with the Crate 1/2 stack. I need to work with the head for awhile to hear the different settings and amp styles, but it is easy to use and requires very little prior amp experience in order to get it to sound just right.

Where do I begin? I bought this amp because my crate failed on me and I needed a new one. The first reason I bought it for was its price. 399$ for a modeling amp? and VOX? I thought it was to good to be true. When I first got it I tested out all the models. They are great! This is the amp for you whether you want to play metal, rock, blues, grunge or, WHATEVER!There are also many effects on it. The reverb chours flanger and comp are the greastest and the wah is so-so. Whoever you are, if you have the money, buy this amp! P.S. way better than Crate!

the effects are amazing and the many sounds you can get out of it are just the same. i would reccommend getting the footswitch but footswitch or not its an amazing amp. has 100 watts of power so its good for shows [depending on the size] and at home practice if you cant afford a cab. i hook mine up with the vox v412 cab and it has sounds anywhere from a crystal clear clean sound to a great distortion. you can turn this amp all the way and not lose any sound quality. perfect for anything.
