    Plug and play. The Gain doesn't seem to do much but control volume, as does the volume. Tone does make a slight difference. Other functions are cool. Good for the price. Has a bit of a reverb effect though. Using Audio-Technica 50x's so it's not those (tried others too).

    I bought this Vox amPlug Bass amp for practice. I also bought the Vox powered Bass headphones. This will be useful with my non powered headphones. Great clear sound and affordable.

    This is a handy little tool for practice. Unfortunately, the battery only lasts around 1.5-2 weeks of regular practice. You must remove the batteries when not in use.
