Great Product!

The 1Spot was probably one of the best guitar related purchases I have ever made. It saves me money, so that I don't have to keep buying 9V batteries for my pedals. It also saves me worry because I don't have to worry about a pedal dying on me while I am playing and having to replace the battery. Get this and the 5 plug adapter and you will never buy another 9v battery again! Oh yea, I also used this adapter to power an old casio keyboard I had, and it worked perfectly!

Great if it stays alive!

Been using this with the daisy chain for a bunch of pedals I have (Dunlop Crybaby, Boss Noise Reduction, Boss Overdrive/Distortion, and Digitech Bass Squeeze). Little after a month, I've noticed subtle noise. A week after, noticed sound fading as well as sudden pops. The next day it died (no power delievered). I will get another one since I already have the daisy chain, and I love the compact design but only wish that it stays alive longer this time!

This is the really good solution for five or fewer 9v pedals; reliable power, compact, and inexpensive.

I've tried other 9V power cords and this is by far superior as it eliminates the buzzing noise for certain pedals. Excellent choice as I'm no longer the buzz guy in the band !

  • Developed a loud hum

Was able to power up 5 to 7 pedals with no problem. After about a year, the PS developed a loud hum. Didn't matter how many pedals were connected to it. I use this for recording so the hum it developed is unacceptable.

will work with a silk tone fuzz silk tone needs a reverse polartiy power supply. when I did a search 1 spot came up

    Open Reply - Gear-Support
No, it won't. The Truetone 1 SPOT 9V DC Adapter provides: 9V DC Center-negative polarity (standard for most guitar pedals) 1700mA (plenty of current) The Silktone Fuzz does require reverse polarity, but in this case, it means center-positive polarity, which is opposite of what the 1 SPOT provides. It would be best to use a Use a polarity-reversing adapter with a quality regulated supply (like the 1 SPOT + CYR)
