Great Drum

I just got this djembe last weekend, and I have to say it was definitely worth it. I wanted to add a new element to acoustic guitar jams, and let me say that it did just that. It has a great sound, and really just made the jam fuller. It was a great for the price too. Overall I would recommend this drum to anyone looking for a good quality hand drum for a great price.

This drum provides such a beautiful sensual earthy tone, it is a very nice drum for smaller venues and studio production. I love it.

Bought a medium for my 10 year old son. It's actually better than I anticipated. It's carved out of what appears to be a single piece of mahogany and the tone is great. It's a perfect size for him. Big enough to have a deep tone, but easily lugged around.

I own a 12" Meinl djembe and wanted something a bit smaller for taking places without having to make a bunch of room in the car for it. This was the perfect answer for that. This is small enough to travel with but still big enough to fit adult hands. I hadn't anticipated on playing this one much at home but I play it as much as the 12" one. It has a deep bass sound and the tones and slaps sound amazing. My other goal in buying this djembe was to have a different brand. I am so impressed by Toca with this djembe that I would recommend this same one to anyone.

I would like to buy a djembe for my Dad, who is 6'1". What size should I order?

    Open Reply - Charles
Any of the sizes will work as the sizes are for tone consideration such as the small has a higher tone, large has a lower tone.
