Wonderful!
Ok, if you ever have a Gibson SG you might notice that the headstock is angled at the end of the neck. This makes it very risky to carry around your sg in a gig bag especially when leaning it on something, because of it's design if you were to accidentally bump the guitar the headstock would be the first thing to go. I really recommend getting this case, it safely holds the neck of the guitar up inside the case so no damage happens to your headstock. I've had this case for about 3 days and so far it has proven to hold up very well despite the random smell of play-doh.

Cheaply made case.
Don't be fooled by all the glowing reviews; this is a cheaply made case that isn't worth half its asking price. The gold hardware on mine was so cheap and rough that I cut myself on it while removing the case from its packaging. Such crude pot metal does not belong on a $115 case. Not only that, but it was installed incorrectly at the factory, so that the top and bottom parts of the hardware don't line up by more than a quarter of a inch. From what I've read elsewhere this problem is more common with these cases than you'd think. To add insult to injury, the riveted TKL logo was visibly canted. While most of the other materials used in its construction appear to be of decent quality, the horribly cheap latches and gross lapse in quality control spoil what could have otherwise been a great alternative to the massive ripoff that is the Gibson OEM case, which is reportedly of *slightly less* shoddy construction at double the price. As I opened my new TKL SG case in disgust, having discovered the aforementioned issues, I couldn't help but note with amazement a tag attached to the center of the case reading ""Made in Canada"". Really? If this particular atrocity is truly representative of what currently passes for quality standards in North American production then I'm afraid there is indeed little to recommend it over the cheap labor of the Far East. As for me, I'm returning my TKL SG case and trying a Gator.

This is the LOW grade TKL. You are better off buying the upgrade but you will pay more than it's worth!

TKL case for 69 SG Special and Epiphone Iommi SG

I bought two of the TKL SG cases. One is for a vintage 69 SG Special, and the other is a new Epiphone Iommi SG. The 69 SG fits perfectly, like the case was made for it. The Iommi SG was tighter on the lower bout, and due to the geometry of it, the headstock sits off-center in the case. It fits nice and snug, and didn't put anything in a bind or add any pressure even when closing the lid. I have liked TKL cases. The one thing I noticed, is that you can see a couple of "slits", like a snakebite, in the covering that looks like it is where the staples fastening the pick box in it comes through to the outside. That seems like a dip in quality from other TKL cases I have, but not too big of a deal for a guitar case. I rate the case as very good for the two guitars I have in these TKL SG cases. I would recommend this case to others.

This case does NOT fit a 2016 Epiphone G-400 Worn SG. It's too small in the lower bout of the guitar.
Great case fit my old Guild S90 just right
