Shape Endless Delay Textures With 10 Delay Types

At your fingertips are 10 different delay types to color your tone, from warm, retro-style Analog and Tape echoes to the haunting, crystalline shimmer of the Chorus delay. The all-new improved Analog and Tape algorithms set a new standard in analog realism, while the otherworldly Crystal delay, developed from TC Electronic's SUB 'N' UP octaver, adds spine-tingling ambience. With the dual delay, intertwine two independent echo lines in parallel. And thanks to backwards compatibility, classic Flashback presets still work beautifully.

Sync Tempo With a Tap or Stomp

When inspiration strikes mid-solo, easily sync your echoes to the beat with the dedicated Tap Tempo footswitch. The convenient Global Tempo mode lets you align all delay presets to the same time signature in seconds. Keep a steady pulse or get adventurous with rhythmic variations—the control is yours.

Save and Access 6 Signature Presets

Once you discover the perfect delay tones for your sound, save them instantly in one of the pedal's 6 TonePrint slots. With space for 6 signature presets across 2 banks, your custom echoes are always close at hand. Hold the Tap footswitch to toggle between banks for even more tonal variety at your feet.

Sculpt Sound in Real Time With 3 MASH Footswitches

Unleash your creativity with the 3 MASH switches, each able to control 3 parameters simultaneously. Vary the pressure on your foot to morph between delay textures, feedback and more for dynamically responsive effects. With 3 MASH switches at your disposal, the sonic possibilities are endless.

    I had a Flashback X4 and I LOVED it, but when I saw the Flashback 2 X4 with the mash and extra features I had to have this one. It arrived and I started checking it out and within 10 min I wanted my X4 back. I LOVE the mash feature its super cool, there is more delay things you can do and set up, actually all in all it IS a better delay pedal than the X4. That being said on the 2 X4 they broke the looper, You can use this pedal as a delay OR a looper, not both. Meaning on the 2 X4 you CAN NOT loop delay effects like you can on the X4. Why they broke this feature I cant seem to figure out. If you dont care about the looper this 2X 4 is a better pedal but if you are looking for a souped up version of the original this is not it.

    Great as a lead or anchor delay. Blends very well and the mash features are fun
