I bought the Numa X GT, and I loved it at first. Feature-wise it can't be beat in this price range but there are design and quality control issues. My first one had a bad screen with lines that develop after being on for about an hour. They replaced it, but since I have discovered 2 others posting the exact same issue on the facebook group (Studiologic Numa Compact 2/2X/Numa Piano X Users) Another issue is with velocity response being inconsistent.....So much so that the latest firmware update includes a setting for individual key balancing. (obviously many users had the same issue) This, IMO is a poor, annoying, time consuming fix. On my 1st Numa, the velocity issues were fairly bad. On my second one, not so much and in different registers. Both of these issues span the entire Numa X line. (Numa X 88, 73 and the GT)

The key action is among the best I have ever found in a digital piano. Extremely responsive and a joy to play. The acoustic piano sounds are pretty good after some tweeking which is fairly easy to do, and the EP/organ sounds are excellent. All in all a great digital piano.

  • Best action key out there. !!!

Best key action on the market for 2k. I have tried many different brands out there. I have tried everything but kawai. This keyboard blows out of the water well known brands like yamaha Cp88, Roland Rd2000. The acoustic pianos are not the best but does the job for live gigs. Pretty happy with this purchase. The interface very intuitive. Also using the USB midi as an audio interface is a very nice feature. The only downside is that weights 50 lbs due the key mechanism. If you want to use this for gigs I'd probably go with the 73 keys.
