Went into GC with two completely different basses in mind. Played and really disliked both and was heartbroken. This little angel caught my eye on the rack with a sale tag and i plugged it into an ampeg rocketbass rig. Was INSTANTLY blown away. Felt like it belonged in my hands.
Excellent Bass for the Money

I have some Sterling guitars and was looking for an inexpensive bass and decided to give this a try. Out of the box it was set up way better than I expected it to be. I did a little fret end maintenance on it as you'll have to do on any budget guitar. A little bit of sprout but nothing a quick file didn't take care of. Nut was properly cut. The pickups are quite hot. They sound great. The neck feels superb. It's got an old school Fender Jazz neck feel. I love it. There are a myriad of sounds in this bass. I can't imagine a style of music this thing couldn't cover. As with all instruments in this budget area, there can hits and misses. This one is a definite hit. It punches way above its price range. I find it comparable to the G&L L2000 Tribute which is about $450 more. This bass is a steal.

I was looking for a good "value" bass as I'm primarily a guitarist, but occasionally get asked to play bass at church. Purchased this one after reading overwhelming positive expert reviews online. Very happy with this purchase as it has great playability and sounds fantastic!
