Great Features, Good Performance and Value!

I love this product for my headphone monitoring needs! Glad I chose this product over the Presonus or the Behringer models as there are plenty of good features on the Sterling SHA4, including 2 source inputs (A+B) for either Balanced or Unbalanced Audio on either, headphone outputs on front and back, Stereo Link, and my favorite feature - the integrated mic stand adapter :-) The integrated mic stand adapter makes this unit so easy to use near the recording talent as the controls are at arms reach at waist height to adjust and control! No more putting the headphone amp on the floor or the table only to get in the way of the cables and people walking around. Oh, and did I mention this amp sounds great!? Because it does sound really great! I also like that the power cable is simple an no wall wort. Good Work Sterling Folks! Love the quality and I plan on using this for years to come!

Very Okay

I've bought two of these now from guitar center and again I'm getting a lot of interference every now and again out of this amp. It's running into a Zoom H6 and I'm pretty sure the interference isn't coming from there. I'm starting to believe this isn't a well built product that's meant to last. It works okay but it's hard to tell how clear it will sound every time you turn it on. For the price it's good though, but if you're looking to only have to buy a headphone amp once, I'd suggest spending a bit more on something else.

I have never used a digital modeler before, and I'm glad I waited. The TMP is so versatile and sounds amazing! Very easy to use and it's just getting started. I can't wait for updates and also for my FR-12 cabinet to arrive!

  • Negative impact on audio quality, but overall convenient.

Picked up this headphone amp for situations in which I'm recording overdubs with an artist out of my home studio for one reason or another. The sound quality really bites (anything above 12kHz is a disaster), but it's convenient having switchable sources for each headphone output.

Major selling point is direct AC input . No Adapters needed. Compact size is great as well. Great price . No competition.

  • I will never buy a Sterling product again

With only one channel in there is VERY slight amplification of sound. A second channel input is only faintly audible with horrible distortion. Product is unusable
