Great lap steel guitar stand, but the width lock knobs point downward can interfere with legs, limiting low height for seated performance.

  • This is my second one, never had a problem with the 1st one

I prefer these type of stands over the X-style keyboard stands. Adjustable height, very sturdy. I am used to sitting at a piano, and these allow me to do that. The X-style stands seem more suited to someone who stands up to play.

  • Good but very limited.

As described in other reviews, this table is only good if you are going to sit down. It is tricky to level the legs evenly and it is also pretty heavy for a portable stand, the folding is useful thou. Also, don't plan to have your full weight 88 on it, in fact nothing heavier than a synth or mixing gear will work of you want the table to feel solid. If none of these represent an issue for you, you are looking at a great quality sturdy stand that is the best in this price range. These type of legs give a really nice retro look that makes my Roland go look even sweeter.

  • I would buy again

Is there a 2nd tier addition that works for this stand? i have one and am looking for something that will connect to this one to put a synth above my stage piano. I went to the guitar center and they sold me a proline 2nd tier that they said would work, but it only works with z stand models so its useless.

Unfortunately, there is no second tier extension available for this type of stand.
