I had the Control One for about a month which I purchased from Guitar Center. I used it at live events over the past few weeks. First of all, I am glad I made the investment. Prior, I was using Akai APC Mini for Static Looks, Performance Mode and Edit. I used Enttec DMX USB Pro for the interface. As long as I was using Autoloops and Autoscript, I was fine. However, it was a pain to use Static Looks or Performance Mode at times due to the limitations of the Akai APC Mini to Soundswitch. The Control One gave me better control over my lights, moving heads and FX, while supporting Autoloops, Autoscript and Performance Mode, without the need to use the software while I am DJing. I only use one USB interface to my PC, since I no longer need an Akai APC Mini or DMXUSB Pro Interface to connect to Soundswitch. Make sure you activate or link your DJ software to SS. Also, if you use wireless DMX, make sure it is communicating properly. Once those two things are done, Control One will work flawlessly, using very little computer resources.
