Stable and easy to get foot peddles where I like them.
Good for starters, but not very tall or sturdy

I was on a budget, so I chose this one to work with my double bass pedals. Opening the box, there was no paperwork in the box at all, for information purposes. Once I got it set up, its not the sturdiest when your hitting the hi hat, it wobbles, I have repeatedly check legs, there are tight, but its as if the stand bounces when you hit it. I am just starting out with drums so I have no idea if that's good or bad (I am guessing bad). It also doesn't go up very high, I am on the tall side (6-4) so I need it up higher but it seems to stretch out the insides too much when I am playing. Seriously considering looking at another, but not sure what do with it.
Passable, but not great

If you need a budget hi-hat stand that will work well with double-bass pedals, this is a good option. The design is sturdy, adjustable to a surprising degree, and gets the job done. However, the action on the pedal is not particularly quick, and if you spend a lot of time transitioning between opened and closed hi-hat licks then you may want to consider breaking for a nicer stand. But if you mostly play your hi-hats closed, go for it.
