These half stands work great for racks and hold up to the rigors of the set up and tear down required for playing live shows

  • Wish they carried Gibraltar in the stores

I use it with a Gibraltar stealth rack. It worked fine and was a heavier gauge than some of the thin stands that wouldn't fit my stealth rack.

I purchased three of the SPC20 Boom Arms for my ride cymbal and my two thin crashes. I use this with my Pearl DR-80 rack. I use the hideaway boom feature on one crash and use the other two as traditional boom stands. I'm impressed with the quality out of the box. I'm not a heavy hitter even though I primarily play hard rock so I expect these to last many years. They feel substantial and the manipulate easily.

i bought 2 new stands with these boom arms. i have broken both of them in a matter of 2 months. they broke after the hinge that is on the boom arm. they are not well made at all. i would recommend tama stands.
