Open Box Simmons SD600 Expansion Pack Level 1 Black

I got this for my nephew to make it feel more like a real set. He loves them. He plays the set every day, some times at 7am in the morning.

Multi-zone Crash and Tom, you can't beat it. Other companies hold back on the multizone units but Simmons really comes through. These units work perfectly on most electric kits with 1/4" tom/cymbal expansion ports. The triggers are dependable and well built with the zones well placed. For the price you can't beat it.

I bought this set to add to my lexjam edm-800 drum kit and not only is the price just right for this expansion set but it works beautifully with my lexjam set. I don't know if this expansion pack works with any other non Simmons kits but it definitely works perfectly with the lexjam edm 800 drum kit and a much less than you'd expect for an 8" Tom and 10" dual zone symbol with choke and it's a Simmons set so that's awesome!! So if you you're looking to add on to your lexjam kit or Simmons kit it's totally worth the money!!!

I'm new to digital drums.Bought two of these expansion packs and hooked them up to my SD1000 brain. Says they're single zone, choke cymbals. Why am I able to assign two zones to these cymbals? One on edge and the other on top of the cymbal. Choke still works on top of that. Thought it was crosstalk and unhooked everything but the cymbal. Definitely dual zone choke for sure. Labeled wrong I think. Even on cymbal. Im getting two more today. May be some sort of inventory swap.

Bought this as soon as I got my SD600 kit assembled. Have been having issues with the tom rim triggering almost every time the tom itself is struck. Guitar Center initiated a warranty return on my behalf, supposedly. I reached back out a week and a half later and they had no idea about the replacement. Directed me to Simmons. Simmons customer service is awful, no one answers their phone, they return calls an hour later, and had no idea about my replacement tom. Finally after a bunch of back and forth, Simmons has shipped me a warranty replacement. I would work with Simmons again and their product is very nice but their customer experience is very lacking. I would not buy from Guitar Center again. The fact that they deleted my negative review is childish and unprofessional. Deleting negative reviews is the same as misleading customers. If you have a warranty issue, reach out to the vendor directly, the inept people at GC obviously don't know what they're doing.

This drum pad and cymbal are responsive. Just wish the "brain" had more cymbal variations; 16" and 18" are very similar sounding…used credit from previous purchase!
