Only works with Titan 70 or SD1250

While the description says it works with both the Titan 50 and the 70, the triple zones only work with the 70! You can connect it to any e-drum modul that uses a TS/TRS plug, but will only work as a single zone cybmal

i want to replace my sd9k ride, but I believe it is a dual zone. which zones will i be able to use if i replace it with this triple zone?
Since the SD9K module only supports two zones, here's how the SC14 will likely behave: You’ll get bow and either bell or edge (depending on how the SC14 maps or how your module interprets the signal). You will not get all three zones — one of the zones will be inactive. Choke should still work, as the SD9K does support choke on cymbals that allow it. Two zones will work: likely bow + either edge or bell, depending on the module's configuration. Choke will work.submitted9 months ago

Would this cymbal work as an expansion on the Simmons titan 70 dual zone plug ins?
Yes, it should work — with caveats: The Titan 70 has dual-zone plug-ins for expansion, and the SC14 is a dual-zone mesh pad, so electrically and physically they are compatible. You may need to adjust the pad settings in the module to ensure it correctly triggers both zones (head and rim). Simmons products tend to be most compatible within their own brand ecosystem, so the SC14 should work better than third-party options. Cable Type: Use a TRS (stereo) 1/4" cable for full dual-zone function. Trigger Settings: After plugging in the SC14, go into the module’s settings and select the right pad type. You may need to tweak sensitivity and threshold.submitteda year ago
