    A solid upgrade for the Simmons kit. After a few weeks I am still impressed with these cymbals' feel and sensitivity.

    I have been playing these for a couple weeks now. I have adapted them to my Roland kit and the feel, response and dynamics are so much closer to a real cymbal feel, it is amazing. The sensitivity stands out as well

    I have been using electronic drums for many years, I am very familiar with Simmons since the first drums were available. When I first saw the Simmons MC 13" 16" and 18" cymbals i was very intrigued by the design, and look. After using them I found they felt great also. The 3 zone, and choke features gave me new options to try. I use my drums to not only trigger sounds ,but also loops and have used them to trigger video. The added zones were a real benefit for me in one spot at a minimal cost. Very highly recommend these cymbals as an addition to any Electronic set.

    I decided to buy a Tama Club Jam kit to convert to an electric setup using mesh heads and Roland triggers. For cymbals, I am using two of these MC16 cymbals as crashes and the MC18 as a ride. They are terrific. The 18" ride 3-zone setup is great, and everything is easily tweakable within my TD-17 module. You can't beat these for value. 10/10!

    I use this cymbal as a ride with the 13" and 16" as crashes on a Roland TD17KVX setup utilizing a Pearl Mimic brain. I'm a pro user, and I must say these play and feel like a dream! Stick feel is on point especially as a ride, plug and play with Pearl Mimic. Real size feels great!

    Will the three zones work with the titan 50 module?

    Yes, the Simmons MC18 E-Kit 18" Metal Cymbal is compatible with the Simmons Titan 50 module. However, to utilize all three zonesā€”bell, bow, and edgeā€”you need to ensure that your Titan 50 module has the appropriate hardware and firmware suppor. Firmware Requirement: The Titan 50 module must have the 20240223 firmware update or later. This update adds support for a 3-zone ride cymbal, allowing you to assign different sounds to each zone. Hardware Consideration: The 3-zone functionality is available only on Titan 50 modules with the updated hardware that supports this feature. Modules manufactured before this update may not support all three zones, even with the firmware update. Connection: Use a TRS (stereo) cable to connect the MC18 cymbal to the module. This ensures that the module can receive separate signals from each zone.

    I just got the alesis crimson 3. Will these cymbals and kick work with this kit? I know it says most kits and alesis is popular so just curious?
