Great item, great price. Highly recommend the Silver Creek.

Silver Creek banjo case is all it was promoted to be and then some. Sturdy exterior, nice brass finished hardware / latches, comfortable and strong leather handle, beautiful green "crushed velvet" looking interior, 2 nice pockets for picks, capo, turner, etc. A very good value for the money. I'd buy another one, but probably won't need one very soon, as my last case lasted appx. 26 years! This one will probably last longer, as it's handle is better, and that's the part that failed on my last case. Unlike my new phone, I am enjoying this case immensely.

Bewar: This Pre-WWII Banjo Case doesn't fit a Pre-WWII Banjo

I was going to purchase a cheaper banjo case, but reviews noted that pre-wwii banjos didn't fit. Therefore, I upgraded in price to this case. Once received, I was impressed with the quality. However, that was until I tried to put my 1937 Gibson Banjo in the case. I assumed, since WWII began in 1939, that my 1937 Gibson Banjo was a pre-WWII Banjo and would fit in a pre-wwii case. I was wrong. So, I am without a case when I need one. I will return this case, and am hopeful that I will get a refund on the shipping cost, given the false advertising. If your banjo fits, this case will be great, but if you have a pre-WWII Banjo, I would say buyer beware.

Purchased this case for my Deering good time resonator banjo. It fits very snug but I'm certain with some more time and usage that the padding will conform to my banjo. The construction is really good for this price point. The latches are smooth and easy to use, the storage compartment is large and roomy. The triangular foam inserts to hug the headstock were a really nice touch.

Like a few other users, I had to remove and adjust the neck supports to get the banjo lid to close properly. Since the supports are screwed in, it was not a big deal. I didn't expect this case to be this nice and well made for the price. Well worth it.

  • A nice case. but SOME BANJOS may not fit.(photos)

I have been looking for a banjo case for several months. This was the one I chose. Good price. it's sturdy. The green faux crushed velvet is very pretty. It has solid latches and I think is well made. Here is the problem! My 1970's iida 5-string resonator banjo did NOT FIT. There was too much padding AND THE LID would not shut. I was disappointed for about a minute, then I decide to be brave and remove some padding. Yep. i simply took it OUT. I could have returned the case but decided it's nice. and I needed a case. The material pulled away easy enough and after removing some of the foam it fit fine. i did not damage anything. Now, i can not recommend YOU do this but it worked for me. The case also comes with triangle foam pads that have velcro to protect the neck.

Looks better in person than it does in the photos. Deep velvety green interior is eye-popping. The rest is a pretty straightforward case, and its quality does not appear to be lacking in any way.

I’m sorry, I don’t know. I don't have one to check. . I believe it will be a good fit. The Silver Creek Vintage Archtop Case for Banjo is a generic case and does well for most banjos
